Threadlockers
Adhesive Systems has the thread locking adhesives to increase the productivity and reliability of your assembly process. Threadlockers are single component, solvent free adhesives (anaerobics) that cure in the absence of air and in the presence of metal ions. Our Torque products and adhesives represent state of the art anaerobic technology, with world class performance. The thread locking sealants are manufactured to provide specific viscosities, strengths, and cure speeds to meet any application requirement. They distribute the load on a fastener over the entire engagement length of the assembly thereby greatly reducing or completely eliminating fastener and material fatigue.
Our thread locking products work hard to lock and seal threaded fasteners for your assembly applications from delicate electronic devices and appliances to heavy industrial equipment. These anaerobic resins prevent loosening and shock from vibration, while locking and sealing threaded assemblies and metal parts. They prevent rust and corrosion that could jeopardize threaded areas. They have excellent resistance to extremely harsh environments; and they significantly reduce production costs.
We offer Torque products that will lock and seal the smallest screws, as well as a thread locking compounds for all your bolts and other porous metal parts. Even for what seems to be the tightest fitting assembly, there are small voids which over time will cause the shifting and loosening of parts. For small metal screws in electronic devices and assorted appliances, our thread lockers can fill the smallest voids. For the larger metal threaded fasteners in large machinery and transportation equipment, high temperature thread locking sealants provide permanent thread locking with resistance to extremely high operating temperatures. This durability and versatility ensures our adhesives will meet your specific application requirements.
Threadsealers
Our high performance Torque liquid thread sealants are specifically designed to seal and secure metal pipes and fittings by filling the space between threaded metal parts and hardening to prevent leakage. They are known in the industry as pipe sealers. Our thread sealer products will create a tough, positive seal that adapts to the pipes and metal parts on which they are applied.
These industrial anaerobic sealants seal and secure metal pipes and fittings for automotive components, military equipment and machinery applications, among other applications. As industry-renowned industrial thread sealant products, they are ideal for automotive, military and mechanical or machinery applications due to the ability resist pressures in systems using hydraulic fluids, oils, fuels, water, and lubricants. Our products will not falter–no matter what chemicals they are exposed to in your applications assembly process.
Our liquid thread sealants seal instantly in order to moderate pressures; and when fully cured they seal to the burst strength of most piping systems. These sealers are ideal for sealing applications in severe environmental conditions and prevent leakage that caused by vibrational loosening, damaged threads, or temperature cycling. Despite impact, shock, vibration and harsh environmental conditions, our liquid thread sealers form an impenetrable seal.
Our liquid thread sealant products do not shrink, shred, tear, or relax. They are formed-in-place sealants conforming to the parts that they are used upon, creating a durable, positive thread seal. They are ready to use, single component, solvent-free materials, designed to handle both low and high-pressure applications.

Retaining Compounds
Adhesive Systems™ Torque Retaining Compound adhesives are engineered to increase the shear strength of cylindrical, non-threaded assemblies. They are single component, solvent-free compounds that are ready to use right from the bottle, or can used in automated systems. We can also custom-engineer adhesive products for distinct markets with various assembly applications.
Retaining compound adhesives fill the inner space and surface irregularities between the parts in bearings, gears, shafts, bushings and pulleys in automotive, machinery and military equipment applications. With the application of the contact adhesive, a durable polymer bond is created that prevents corrosion and increases overall strength. And this technology greatly enhances the reliability and performance properties of the finished assembly.
Our metal adhesive products are designed to increase the strength, reliability and efficiency of your assembly processes. Since only 20-30% of actual contact exists between even the tightest fitting metal parts, our retaining compounds are necessary to fill voids. In fact, our retaining compounds strengthen the assembly 2 to 3 times that of the original fit. Your machinery parts will increase shear strength, eliminating the need for other costly retaining and locking devices such as as keyways, set screws, spines, tapers, knurls, and other fasteners. This lowers your operations cost while improving the quality and reliability of your machine parts and assembly process.
Our anaerobic adhesives are formulated in a wide range of viscosities, gap filling abilities, cure times and strength characteristics. Machining tolerances can be relaxed, thus lowering the cost of the assembly, and simplifying the manufacturing process. Improved quality, reliability, cost effectiveness, and ease-of-use, are just a few of the many benefits that ASI’s retaining compound adhesives offer to improve the manufacturing techniques in your assembly applications.
We are an established company that operates globally, and we manufacture a comprehensive adhesive product line that is unique and engineered to work with all your assembly applications.
